Basic
Positive Behaviour Support in NDIS Practice is a practical, scenario-based CPD course designed for disability support workers, team leaders and anyone supporting NDIS participants day to day. Rather than treating behaviour as something to manage or control, this course teaches the person-centred, human-rights-based approach at the heart of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's Positive Behaviour Support framework.
Across six interactive modules, you'll learn how to recognise the real functions behind behaviours of concern, apply the ABC model to your own observations, understand the five categories of restrictive practice and your reporting obligations, contribute meaningfully to a functional behaviour assessment, follow a behaviour support plan correctly and consistently, and look after your own wellbeing in emotionally demanding work.
The course uses real-life branching scenarios, interactive diagrams and knowledge checks throughout, finishing with a scenario-based final assessment and a CPD certificate on successful completion — 4.5 CPD hours in total.

Mental health conditions are among the most common — and most misunderstood — challenges support workers encounter in disability and community services. This course gives NDIS and home care workers the practical knowledge and confidence to support participants experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and psychosocial disability, without overstepping their scope of practice.
Across five modules, learners build skills in early recognition, person-centred communication, de-escalation, and safe referral pathways — while also addressing the often-overlooked issue of worker burnout and vicarious trauma in frontline support roles. The course is scenario-based and assessment-driven, designed for busy support workers who need applicable, real-world skills rather than clinical theory.
Ideal as a standalone CPD credential or as part of a broader induction and safeguarding pathway.

Trauma affects how people communicate, regulate emotions, and engage with support — often in ways that are easy to misread as "non-compliance" or "difficult behaviour." Trauma-Informed Care Foundations equips NDIS and aged care support workers with the knowledge and practical skills to recognise the signs of trauma, understand its impact on the brain and behaviour, and respond in ways that build safety and trust rather than re-traumatise.
Through scenario-based learning and interactive checklists, this course walks participants through the five core principles of trauma-informed practice — safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment — and shows how to apply them in everyday support interactions, from intake through to ongoing care. Mapped to the NDIS Practice Standards (Core Modules 1–4) and Code of Conduct, it's designed to be immediately relevant to frontline work, not theoretical.
Delivered as a self-paced, interactive online module with a scenario-based assessment and certificate of completion.
